Concrete

Concrete is one of the most versatile and sustainable materials that we use to incorporate into our design/build projects. The culture of concrete turns from granular into a liquid that is poured, cured into a solid that can be molded into any shape and size that you can imagine. Wood, composite and steel forms are usually used to provide the framework necessary to hold the concrete into the shape required during the curing process. Some examples of what we can do with concrete are: Countertops, seating benches, caps, patios, footers, ponds, stepping stones you name it the possibilities are endless. Another cool aspect to concrete is the ability to add tint, coloring, stain & sealer to modify the look and feel of the material. Trowel finish, float finish and broom finish are some examples of what we can do physically to change the texture. Concrete is unique in that is is a living thing. It lives and breathes and gets stronger with age. When prepared and finished correctly it is a material that can outlast just about any other selections.
